Subject to planning approval, we hope to build social housing to rent on several pieces of land at Holdforth Place in New Wortley, Leeds as shown in red on the map (right).
After two extensive community consultations in 2017 and 2018, New Wortley Housing Association established that the greatest housing need in the area was for family homes and housing for those aged 55+ who may have additional mobility requirements. With this in mind, New Wortley Housing Association have contracted LEDA Architects, who have been working in association with Stack Architects on the designs for 22 beautifully designed, sustainable social homes:
As a soon-to-be registered social housing provider, our houses will be allocated to those who are on priority bands A or B of Leeds City Council's housing waiting list. We will then be developing our own lettings policy to nominate our tenants from these priority bands.
If you are interested in registering your interest as a possible future tenant with us, you will have to ensure you are on the Leeds City Council's waiting list and are in band A or B.
